No unnecessary travel

Rice County Sheriff Troy Dunn is recommending no unnecessary travel.  He spoke with KYMN at 9 o’clock this morning and reported multiple crashes, areas of zero visibility and slick road conditions.  The snow is expected to continue into tonight.  Police Chief Monte Nelson echoed Dunn’s words.  If you must travel leave plenty of stopping distance and slow down.

Be sure to call ahead for any appointment you may have to be certain they’re open.  Check kymn.net for closures.
