Five fire dept’s respond to turkey barn fire

Rice County Deputies responded to a barn fire at 24811 Cabot Avenue in Faribault this morning around 7 o’clock.  There were 18,000 day old turkeys in the barn.  All were lost including the structure.  The fire is under investigation but no foul play is suspected.   Fire departments from Faribault, Kenyon, Medford, Morristown and Nerstrand responded.
