Burning ban will lift at 8am on May 2nd

With the precipitation and milder winds forecasted for Tuesday, the burning restrictions will be lifted effective Wednesday, May 2nd at 8:00 am.  We still ask that if you are burning, you obtain your burning permits and activate them at the time of the burning.  Please be very careful that you have a safe area to burn and that you are always monitoring the winds. The Sheriff’s Office, the DNR and your local fire departments appreciates your cooperation.
