Chief Monte Nelson

This week is National Police Week and Northfield Police Chief Monte Nelson encourages residents to take time this week to show support for our police officers by greeting them if you see them, shaking their hand, and/or thanking them for their service to the community.  You can show silent support by turning on a blue light during the week.  Nelson reminds us that police officers put their lives on the line every day.  Police have been invited to several places in our community this week as a show of support and appreciation.
