Nfld police investigating a possible accidental drug overdose death

The Northfield Police Department is investigating a possible accidental drug overdose death. At approximately 2:00 p.m., July 3rd, Northfield Officers responded to a report of an unresponsive female at a residence in the 500 block of Wilson Court. On arrival, officers and medical personnel determined the victim was deceased. Evidence in the immediate area and information from family members indicated the female may have suffered an accidental drug overdose of heroin.  Click on the full press release below:
