Camp – the Northfield Way! Register now

Experience a helicopter landing, climb the National Guard’s rock wall, eat lunch with firefighters, play at open swim, learn about vaping and bullying from Climb Theater, learn train, fire and electrical safety, meet the water patrol, watch a K-9 demonstration, have a SWAT experience, learn about animal safety, participate in a bike rodeo, meet the DJJD horses, visit the bookmobile and learn self-defense. The excitement doesn’t end there as the

number and variety of crazy camp games planned will have every child absolutely thrilled! Participants should bring a sack lunch, water bottle, tennis shoes and sunscreen. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Every child will receive a Safety Camp t-shirt as well! Pre-registration is required.

The Safety Day Camp is being organized in collaboration with the Northfield Hospital & Clinics, Northfield Hospital & Clinics EMS, Northfield Public Schools Community Services Division, City of Northfield – Northfield Public Library and Street & Parks Division, Northfield Police and Fire, Rice County Sheriff Department and the Northfield YMCA. Donations from Dakota Electric, BAMCO McDonalds, College City Beverage, Northfield Retirement Center Foundation, Target, the Northfield Police Association and Dept., Witt Bros. Service, Inc., and Subway have made all the arrangements for camp possible!

Tuesday – Thursday, July 31 – August 2
7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. (check in), 4:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (pick up) – Programs begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tu, W, & Th
