Missing teen from Carver UPDATE: Found safe

UPDATE: The BCA reports Jenup Chop found safe at 5:40pm 8-13-18

 

The Carver County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in locating Jenup Stephen Chop, 13. Jenup left his current residence in the city of Carver around 3:00 a.m. Monday in an Uber. He is believed to be traveling with his non-custodial father, Stephen Gatrek Chop, 02/02/1975. Jenup was dropped off at Highway 60 and Interstate 35, where it is believed he met up with Stephen. Jenup is described as 6’00”, 135 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. Stephen may be driving a silver 2006 Nissan Altima with Minnesota plate 374JZY.There are ties to the Austin area and possibly Owatonna.
