Northfield Fire Chief Gerry Franek and Glen Castore, Vice-Chair of NAFRS (Northfield Area Fire and Rescue Services), provide an update on renovations to the fire station. The goal for completion of the entire project is March 2019. Following interviews, a temporary part-time Program Coordinator is soon to be hired – this person will focus on making sure that the cities of Dundas and Northfield, and the rural fire district have consistency in terms of policies and processing appropriate documents.
