Northfield Mayor Rhonda Pownell and City Administrator Ben Martig talk about topics addressed by the City Council at its August 21 meeting, including a TIF request from Aurora Pharmaceuticals, approval of a capital equipment budget for the fire department to purchase a new pumper truck and infrared camera, a preliminary plat for the Bluff View addition (across from Northfield Middle School), paid parental leave for city employees, and approval of the purchase of a Polaris special patrol vehicle for the police department.
