Corinne Smith and Joan Ennis from Northfield Public Library talk about Northfield Reads, a collaborative of the Northfield Human Rights Commission, Northfield Public Library, League of Women Voters, and Carleton Humanities Center, that encourages people to read a particular book.  The book this year is “A Good Time for the Truth:  Race in Minnesota.”  The kickoff will start with a panel discussion on September 27 at First United Church of Christ at 7:00 p.m. about race in Northfield.
