Volunteers needed in Northfield area parks

The southeast portion of Northfield was hit hard by yesterday’s severe weather.

Volunteers are needed to help with storm clean up at various parks by collecting debris to place on boulevards for pick up.  The list of parks is below.

* Riverside Park

* Oddfellows Park

* Sibley Swail

* Tyler Park

* Truman Park

* Roosevelt Park

* Memorial Park

Individuals willing to pick up debris and haul to compost site (1801 Armstrong Road) are also in great demand.

If you would like to be available for other needs as they arise, please email your name, phone number and email address to: info@northfieldshares.org.

PLEASE NOTE: There are several roads that may be closed due to low or downed powerlines. PLEASE BE CAREFUL and respectful of City and Electrical Cos.
