A recall of ground beef products made by Minnesota-based company Cargill affects a number of grocery stores in Minnesota. Cargill has recalled over 132,000 pounds of ground beef products produced at one of its Colorado facilities because of a possible E. coli contamination. The Food Safety and Inspection Service says that potentially tainted beef may have found their way to Target and Sam’s Club stores nationwide. It’s also been delivered to Aldi stores in eight states, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 86R” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide.
