Rice County needs volunteers for storm cleanup

Who:  Willing volunteers who are able to do light manual labor
(If under age 18, must be accompanied by a parent.  Prefer age 13 or older)
What: Assist with clean-up from the Sept. 20 tornado & storm damage in Rice County
When: Saturday and Sunday, September 29 & 30
Clean-up from 8:00am-4:00pm.
Volunteer Registration opens at 7:30am and closes at 2:00pm.

Where:  Rice County Fairgrounds-
4-H Extension Building
1900 Fairground Drive
​​ Faribault, MN
How:   Come to Fairgrounds to register and be transported to sites for clean-up

Important reminders:
• Come dressed appropriately for outdoor work with long pants and closed toe shoes
• Bring gloves, if you have them— but not required.
• Refreshments are provided for registered volunteers.
