Hibbing Police and BCA looking for murder suspect

The Hibbing Police Department with the assistance of the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating an incident in which two people were shot, one fatally, on December 25 in Hibbing. Investigators have identified the suspect in the shooting as Jerome Dionte Spann, a 29-year-old black male (DOB 5-5-89). Spann fled in a vehicle with an unknown black male and may have traveled to St. Paul where Spann has relatives.

Investigators consider Spann armed and dangerous; he should not be approached.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Jerome Dionte Spann is asked to call 911 or 218-263-3601.
