2019 Street Reclamation Project public meeting

The City of Northfield is beginning the planning and design for the 2019 Street Reclamation Project. A portion of the project includes Third Street from Oddfellows Lane to the railroad tracks just west of Trunk Highway 3. The City will be looking to incorporate Downtown Streetscaping and Complete Streets amenities on a portion of the Third Street Corridor. The City would like input from property owners and the community as the City begins planning for this improvement project. A project location map is attached to this press release, which illustrates the area being considered for these proposed Streetscaping and Complete Streets updates.

Due to the broader impact to the community on these improvements, a community meeting will be held to share information and gather input from the public on the project. The meeting time and location is below.

When: Monday February 4, 2019 Time: 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Where: Northfield City Hall – Council Chambers, 801 Washington Street

Additional information regarding the project can also be found on the project website located at the link HERE.
