Northfield Police Chief Monte Nelson called to ask if we would put out a warning. He advises no travel due to the blowing winds. While the sun may be shining, the wind is whipping snow around and making for very poor driving conditions. The sheltered areas of town may look fine but the roads in the country are “pretty nasty” and the conditions vary widely.
