Man charged with Criminal Vehicular Operation at Eagan Starbucks

Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Ihar Daniliuk (pronounced E-har Danna-lick) , age 44 of Eagan, has been charged today with one count each of Criminal Vehicular Operation Resulting in Great Bodily Harm and Criminal Vehicular Operation Resulting in Substantial Bodily Harm in connection with a crash that injured two individuals at a Starbucks in Eagan on Monday. On the evening of August 19, 2019, Eagan police officers responded to a report of vehicle that had driven into a Starbucks business, seriously injuring two people. Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle with its front-end inside the building. An officer made contact with Daniliuk, who admitted to driving the vehicle. The officer noted a strong odor of alcohol emanating from Dahiliuk. Prior to the administration of the field sobriety tests, Daniliuk admitted to consuming alcohol two hours previously and agreed to provide a preliminary breath test which revealed a breath alcohol concentration of 0.18.
