Sogn Valley Art Fair is special. The Fair is located at ArtOrg, a nonprofit arts group located in downtown Cannon Falls, Minnesota. The Fair is actually at the very end of the Sogn Valley, as defined by the Little Cannon River, southeast of the Twin Cities. The landscape is rolling hills, farmland, forests and much wildlife.
Sogn Valley Art Fair is an intimate invitational show. Our artists are invited based on the quality of their work with an eye towards representing diverse media. You’ll find a wide variety of pottery, including functional and sculptural work in raku, porcelain and stoneware, jewelery in silver, gold and beads, painting, photography, baskets, fiber weaving fabric, metalwork and more. Visitors can expect to view all of our artists’ work during a morning or afternoon at the Fair.
The Sogn Valley Art Fair is located right next to the Cannon Valley Bike Trail. Ride your bike on beautiful trails that now stretch from Lake Byllesby Regional Park to Cannon Falls and then all the way to Welch and Red Wing, Minnesota..
The Sogn Valley Art Fair is free! No admission fee and no parking fee.
The Fair has been supporting local and artisinal foods long since it’s inception. Raw Minnesota wildflower honey, organic produce, Indian corn, pumpkins and seasonal garden items, handmade jams, relishes, caramels and more are in the mix.
We feature local music. You might find a band set up next to the river or maybe strolling among the crowds.
