G. Oliver Riggs is a Minnesota Music man but without his great-granddaughter’s unearthing of her family history, his story may not have been fully realized. Joy Riggs is the author of “Crackerjack Bands and Hometown Boosters – The story of a Minnesota Music Man”. Joy is an engaging storyteller and you don’t have to be a part of a band to love the book! She shares with our listeners the influence of her great-grandfather, the road-tripping she did with her dad to research G. Oliver’s life and the importance of the Community Band!
