NH+C opens Temporary Respiratory Clinic – NOT a COVID center

MARCH 17, 2020 – Northfield Hospital + Clinics has opened a Temporary Respiratory Clinic to treat all patients in the most effective setting possible.

NH+C will serve patients in this specialized area to determine the best evaluation and treatment plan for their respiratory illness while protecting other clinic patients and staff.

This temporary clinic will serve patients who may have a variety of respiratory conditions.

This is NOT a COVID-19 test center. This temporary clinic separates patients with contagious conditions from other clinic patients to keep everyone safe. A separate, temporary setting protects our clinics’ environment for patients who need other kinds of care.

All patients are asked to CALL first for all conditions. A triage nurse will discuss your symptoms and determine the best location if you need to be seen.

 Northfield Clinic: 507-646-1494

Lonsdale Clinic: 507-744-3245

Lakeville Clinic: 952-469-0500

Farmington Clinic: 651-460-2300

Respiratory illnesses require special precautions because they are caused by viruses and spread by coughing or sneezing. This separate setting helps us limit exposure, with staff in protective gear that’s used when caring for potential contagious conditions.

If you have these symptoms, call your provider right away:

If you have these symptoms, treat at home:

·        Mild fever
