Northfield Shares receives grant to support local organizations

Northfield Shares was notified earlier this week that it has been awarded a $20,000 grant from the Minnesota Council of Foundations (MCF) through the Minnesota Disaster Recovery Fund. (MDRF)  This new funding will allow Northfield Shares to provide additional financial support to local organizations during and into recovery from this pandemic.

“We applaud the heroic efforts by individuals and organizations who are meeting pandemic related needs. Now, we are pleased to announce this new funding pool available for Northfield nonprofits going above and beyond at this time providing life giving services and support.” said Donna Rae Scheffert, Chair of the Northfield Shares Grants Committee.
