"Why Community Matters" – an introduction

“Why Community Matters” is a mini-series that focuses on Laura Baker Services Association. We’re shedding light on the positive impacts and the value that service providers have on local communities – from economic benefits to inspirational stories of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We’ll talk with the caregivers, the families and the volunteers from challenges to triumphs and ways in which we can enrich each other’s lives. In this segment we talk with Sandi Gerdes, the Executive Director of LBSA. It’s an introduction to the series.
