Grit – the power of Passion and Perseverance

Due to Covid-19, we are revisiting previous interviews I really enjoyed and find pertinent or fun or both or more! I talked with Angela first in 2016.

Leaving a high-flying job in consulting, Angela Lee Duckworth took a job teaching math to seventh graders in a New York public school. She quickly realized that IQ wasn’t the only thing separating the successful students from those who struggled. On today’s 15 with the Author, Angela Duckworth discusses her first book “GRIT – the power of Passion and Perseverance”, Angela dives deep into the reasons why those who might not look like they would be high achievers on paper, can attain heights more talented people might never reach.
