A new project has begun on Hwy 52 between Hampton Township and Cannon Falls in Dakota County. The ride quality of the road on Hwy 52 in this area is reaching its life expectancy. A concrete overlay will improve the smoothness and ride quality in the area. The project work will include construction crossovers, concrete overlay, update guardrail, install cable median barrier, update signals and repair joints on two bridges.
Traffic impacts include lane closures and access changes or closures. Expect a truck detour due to narrowed lanes/crossovers.
The project is expected to be complete in November 2021.
