ArtZany: Lakeville Art Festival with Sarah Stowell 09-17-21

Today in the ArtZany Radio studio Paula Granquist welcomes Sarah Stowell, Festival Director, to preview the Lakeville Art Festival.

Considered to be one of the finest art festivals south of the river, the Lakeville Art Festival is held the third weekend in September in historic downtown Lakeville, Minnesota on the grounds of the Lakeville Area Arts Center. Featuring over 100 juried artists on the park-like grounds using a unique circular arrangement of artist booths, the Lakeville Art Festival provides an intimate and accessible setting to enjoy fine art.

The Lakeville Art Festival is proud to host over 100 exhibitors in an intimate, premium art festival featuring many art forms and mediums to include visual and performing artisans.

Friends of the Lakeville Area Arts Center, a non-profit organization, is made up of citizens in the community who share a commitment to high quality and diverse arts and education opportunities for local residents.

Celebrating more than 15 years of achievement, the Friends of the Lakeville Area Arts Center organizes Lakeville’s annual fall arts festival, funds capital improvements and equipment for the arts center, and brings together business leaders in the community to support the arts.
