Voting Trends: How Lonsdale Has Voted Since 2010

Lonsdale has long been the local Republican strong hold, and as the city has grown, it has remained Republican. In 2020, Republicans gained 1,500 votes in the city for the first time. On average Republicans win 68% of the vote in Lonsdale.

Methodology:
Each year's data is calculated by the amount of votes for the highest office on the ballot in that election cycle. In Presidential Elections votes for President were used and in Midterm Elections votes for Governor were used. For example, in 2020 the votes for Donald Trump and Joe Biden were used to represent their respective parties. In 2022, the votes for Tim Walz and Scott Jensen were used to represent their respective parties.
Third Party and Independent candidates were excluded from the data, for having a low vote count.
