MN DOT Travel Advisories (posted at 7:10pm 12/22/2022)
At 7pm, there are several highways across Southern Minnesota, especially around Mankato, that have been closed due to white out conditions. (All of the roads in red are closed, roads in purple no travel is advised).

City of Northfield – Snow Emergency (posted 4:05pm 12/21/2022)
The City of Northfield has declared a snow emergency effective 5 p.m. December 21 until 9 a.m. December 24.
• Residential streets will be plowed on December 22
• Downtown snow removal will be on December 26
• Snow removal in all downtown parking lots will be on December 27

Northfield Public Schools (updated at 12:50pm 12/21/2022)
The special school board meeting scheduled for Dec. 22, 2022, for purposes of the annual audit report has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022, at 10 a.m. in the board room.

Northfield Hospital & Clinics (updated at 10:15am 12/22/2022)
Thursday: Kenyon Clinic is closing at noon. All other clinics are closing at 3 pm. Urgent Care Lakeville and Northfield are closing at 4 pm.
Friday: Northfield Clinic and Women’s Health Center will be open with very limited services. All other Clinics closed.
Saturday (Christmas Eve): Urgent Care Lakeville and Northfield will be open from 8 am – 12 pm.
Sunday (Christmas Day): Urgent Care Lakeville and Northfield will be closed.
Monday: All clinics are closed. Urgent Care Lakeville and Northfield will be open from 12 pm – 7:30 pm
**Northfield Hospital ER remains open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have an emergency, please call 911 and allow extra time for them to arrive.

Northfield Area Family YMCA (updated at 7pm 12/22/2022)
The YMCA will be closed all of Friday Dec. 23rd.

Northfield Community Action Center (posted at 2:55pm 12/21/2022)
All locations of the CAC will be closed on Dec. 22nd 2022. View the CAC’s holiday hours here

Rice County (posted at 3:00pm 12/21/2022)
Rice County government offices will be operating with limited staff on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd. Find more information here

Northfield Public Library & City Hall (posted at 3:30pm 12/21/2022)
City Hall and the Library will close at Noon on Thursday, December 22 and all day Friday, December 23.

Fifty North (Update at 12:30pm 12/22/2022)
Fifty North will be closed until Monday December 26th
