Snow Storm Alerts for 1/19/2023

Another round of snow is set to hit Northfield starting Wednesday night and moving into Thursday. Northfield will be in a Winter Storm Warning starting tonight at 9pm till tomorrow at 3pm.

City of Northfield – Snow Emergency:
The City of Northfield has declared a snow emergency effective 10 p.m. Wednesday, January 18 until 9 a.m. Friday, January 20.

During a snow emergency there is no parking on any city street until it is plowed curb-to-curb and the weather system has passed. Vehicles parked on the street will be ticketed with the potential of being towed during a snow emergency.

• Residential streets will be plowed on January 19
• Downtown snow removal will be on January 20
• Snow removal in all downtown parking lots will be on January 21

Faribault Public Schools:
Due to the incoming snow storm, Faribault Public Schools will have an e-learning day tomorrow, January 19, 2023. Please have your child check their SeeSaw or Schoology account for messages and assignments from their teacher.
