ArtZany! Lisa Daehlin – Crochet Mandala Project, 7-28-23

This week on ArtZany Radio Paula Granquist welcomes textile artist, knitting designer, and opera singer Lisa Daehlin. She will share her Crochet Mandala Project at Northfield Yarn, 314 Division Street, Northfield, this, Sunday, July , 30, 2PM – 3PM.


Over the past year, Northfield community members donated their yarn scraps and stories to textile artist Lisa Daehlin for the creation of her Crochet Mandala project. Join Lisa at the shop on July 30 and see what those scraps and stories have become! The event is free and open to all (donations will be accepted, we’ll “pass the hat”).

ARTIST BIO –Lisa Daehlin is an artist, educator, performer, and alumna of Teachers College (Music and Music Education, MA 2012). Lisa’s artistic identities as a singer and a stitch wielder often blend together in her performance of art song on the concert stage, in cabarets, and in windows of yarn shops. She also free-lances for the fashion industry and retail design. Her designs can be seen walking the streets of Manhattan, gracing the pages of numerous publications, including: Vogue KnittingInterweave KnitsKnit.1, and Knit Simple, magazines as well as featured in knitting and crocheting books.
