Northfield fireworks re-scheduled for Friday, July 5th.

The city of Northfield has announced that the Independence Day fireworks display will be held on Friday, July 5 starting at 10 p.m. at Northfield Middle School due to inclement weather.

Plan ahead and allow for extra time to get to the display due to road construction on Jefferson Parkway. Viewing areas near the fireworks display include Northfield Middle School parking lot and south fields, Tyler Park, and the fields north of Jefferson Parkway. While going to or watching the Northfield fireworks display, please do not block roads, streets, sidewalks, trails or driveways.

The weather forecast for tomorrow includes quite a bit of rain as well, however it does appear right now that there will be a window for the fireworks around 10:00. Check the city’s website or social media accounts for any changes to the schedule.
