Road Construction Continues Around the Northfield High School

By Logan Wells, News Director | Logan@kymnradio.net

As school starts again today, road construction will remain around the Northfield High School. The project along Jefferson Parkway has been completed, but the project in front of the high school on Division Street is still ongoing where there is a lane shift in place.

The City of Northfield is encouraging motorists to plan for extra time to enter and leave the high school. Motorists exiting left out of the high school on Division Street going north are instead urged to exit right out of the high school, travel south, and travel all the way through the roundabout to go north again. This will help reduce traffic congestion due to the lane shift.

The project is set to be completed in mid-October, but the project is scheduled to clear the road after September 20th.
