By Logan Wells, News Director | Logan@kymnradio.net

Last week, the Northfield Public Library was recognized as one of the best small libraries in America. The Library Journal recognized Northfield as one of the three finalists for the Best Small Library in America Award.  To qualify for the award, the library has to serve a population of less than 25,000. Director of Library Services Natalie Draper said that they were recognized in part for their efforts towards inclusion and outreach

“So the Oasis, the amount of time that we spend out in the community with the bookmobile bringing library services out to everybody, we really pride ourselves on taking the library with us wherever we go. When I think that comes through in the services that we provide. So that was what was recognized. But yeah, it’s really it’s, it’s an honor to be honored.”
