Road Work Begins on Division Street & 4th

By Logan Wells, News Director | Logan@kymnradio.net

Starting today, the City of Northfield will be fixing the broken pavers at the crosswalk at the Intersection of Division Street and 4th Street, next to Bridge Square. The work is expected to last from today to Wednesday, October 2nd. During that period each day from 7am to 7pm, the intersection will be closed to all traffic. The city will post detour routes and encourage all downtown businesses and residents to plan their routes accordingly, allow for extra travel time, and be cautious in work zones.

Pavers in the crosswalk on Water Street will be repaired next after the work is completed at Division and 4th Street. In August, the city replaced the pavers at the crosswalks along Division Street at 5th, 6th, and 7th Street.
