Investigation into Missing Person Nicole Anderson ongoing; Reward Increased to $45,000

The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the disappearance of 56-year-old Nicole Anderson who left on foot from her Randolph Township home the morning of July 6th and did not return. According to a statement sent to KYMN Radio from the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office, the previous reward of $5,000 for information leading to Anderson’s whereabouts or the prosecution of those involved in her disappearance is now $45,000. Private parties have graciously pledged an additional $40,000 reward to be distributed independently of the Sheriff’s Office.

According to a statement released in July by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Anderson’s family said her sudden disappearance is deeply concerning, especially to those who know her well. Her dog, phone, wallet, car, and crucial cancer medications were all left at home. She had recently undergone two major surgeries for breast cancer and is in the recovery process, making it even more critical to locate her quickly. Given her medical condition and her strong bond with her dog, the statement said, it is highly unlikely that she would leave without telling anyone or making the proper arrangements.

Anderson is described as a 56-year-old white female, 5 feet, 10 inches tall and approximately 135 pounds. She has blond hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing dark-colored pants, sandals, and a long gray sweater/shirt.

Only tips received through the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers that help lead to the location of Anderson or prosecution of those involved in her disappearance are eligible for the reward.
