Bows, Strings, & Contentment is a local orchestra that aims to give adult string instrument students an opportunity to learn and play together in a music group. They currently rehearse at All Saint’s Episcopal Church in Northfield and are led by Peter Stegner, manager and co-founder, Laura Geissler, conductor and co-founder, and Laurie Melting Stegner, pianist and arranger.

Bad Mama channels the inner funk of Carrie Jennings on vocals/tenor sax, Martha Larson on vocals/cello and Allyson Wopata on drums. These three music mamas join forces to celebrate the joy and insanity of being a gentle, creative soul in a fast-paced, complex world. https://hotspotmusic.org/badmama
