Second Half of Ag & Mobile Home Property Taxes Due on Friday

The second half of agriculture and mobile home property tax payments are due on November 15th, which is Friday. 

Property taxes may be paid online at the Rice County website, www.ricecountymn.gov, via the beacon website. We will have a link in todays news with instructions on how to pay property taxes online.

You can pay by phone at 877-690-3729 using the jurisdiction code 3321.

A convenience fee of 2.4% of the tax amount, with a minimum charge of $2.00, applies to all credit card payments.  A convenience fee of $4.00 applies to Visa debit card payments. No charge applies to e-Check payments.

Paying from a checking or savings account carries no additional fee. Credit card payments carry a third-party convenience fee of 2.4% of the tax amount with a minimum $2 charge. Visa debit card payments carry a flat fee of $4.

Payments can also be made in person at the Rice County Government Services Building in Faribault. In-person payments can only be made by cash, check, or money order.
