On Friday, Carleton College will once again host their annual Craft Fair and Custodial Bake Sale. This long-standing event welcomes the entire Northfield community to shop the wares of Carleton staff and community members. A wide variety of hand-crafted items and baked goods will be available for purchase.

The craft portion of the fair first started in 1982, when then-Carleton employee Loretta Springer organized the fair as an opportunity for Carleton staff to showcase and sell homemade items. Nine years later custodian Pat Flynn organized the bake sale portion of the fair to help fund the Carleton Custodial Scholarship Fund

The Craft Fair and Bake Sale starts Friday at 8am and goes until 2pm at the Weitz Center for Creativity. The event is open to everyone, and no entrance fee is charged.
