Tuba Christmas Set for This Saturday

This Saturday, Tuba Christmas is returning to Northfield. The Vintage Band Festival hosts the event and has been presented in many communities of the United States for over 50 years. The event includes low brass instruments playing Christmas carols in harmony providing a listening experience “that has no parallel.”

Registration for musicians opens at 12:00 pm. There will be a rehearsal at 1:00 pm and a break from 2:00-3:00 pm. The performance begins at 3:00 pm. Registration is $10 for musicians and with that every musician will receive a commemorative pin.

Tuba Christmas in Northfield is a free, family-friendly event for anyone who wants to attend and watch. The performance starts at 3 p.m. in Skinner Chapel of Carleton College.
