Tonight, KYMN is debuting a new radio program, On A Tangent, with Will Healy and Rob Ryden. The two had previously worked together on a show for nearly 5 years called The Long Way Home. Healy shared that inspiration for the show comes from a column he read in the St. Paul Pioneer Press growing up as a kid:
“But the title is a column “things I learned while looking up other things” and that was always my favorite Sydney Harris column because I would learn stuff that I would never otherwise learn. Healy said that this opportunity to go off on a tangent allows for interesting outcomes, here’s Healy and Ryden together:
“We just feel like when we’re when we’re off on a tangent. Really, really rich stuff comes our way.”
“Yeah And it’s fun to sort of not restrain yourself or not have to sometimes.

The show will also feature music as another core part of the program.
The program will air on the 4th Monday of each month at 8pm, and will be available online at kymnradio.net afterward as well.
