In May, Age Friendly Northfield will again host a Nordic Walking program. The program partners with the Northfield Public Library and Northfield Community Education. Age Friendly Organizer, CC Linstroth, stated that in May the organization will host a preview event at the library to see if people are interested in the program:
“People will get to try out the equipment to see if they actually want to then follow up with one of the classes with Linda so you can sign up for a couple of lessons or you can decide it’s not for you.” – CC Linstroth of Age-Friendly Northfield on the KYMN Morning Show
CC stated that Age Friendly is working to find a location for the equipment at either the library or the Community Education Center. When we have more details about the class we will share them with you. You can hear CC each month with an update about Age Friendly here on KYMN on the fourth Thursday of the month at 8:40am.
