The Northfield City Council meets for a special meeting tomorrow. The meeting is their Strategic Planning Retreat and is set to take all day. The city has been working for the last several months on the 3 year plan for the city. Currently, the city has held focus groups, surveyed the community, and held discussions among the council members. During the retreat, the council will set the goals of the strategic plan. Later, the city staff will come back with strategies and actions for the council to adopt. The current plan is to adopt a strategic plan for the city by the end of May.
The meeting is all day and is open to the public. However, there will be no public comment session as this is a work session meeting.
The meeting starts at 7:30am tomorrow, in the Second Floor Training Room of the Northfield City Hall.
