Tick, Tick, Boom at the Paradise Set to Close This Weekend

By Logan Wells, News Director | Logan@kymnradio.net

The show tick, tick… Boom is set to close this weekend at the Paradise Center for the Arts in Faribault. The hit musical was created by Jonathan Larson and follows his story before his other breakthrough hit musical, Rent. His autobiographical musical is the story of a composer and the sacrifices that he made to achieve his big break in musical theatre. Containing fourteen songs, many characters, and six performers, Tick, Tick… BOOM! takes you on the playwright/composer’s journey that led to a Broadway blockbuster. Everyone will love this youthful, endearing, and thoughtful piece, and will surely embrace the universal ideal of holding onto your dreams through life’s most difficult challenges.

In last week’s edition of ArtZany, Paula talks with the director of the show, Will McIntyre, the show’s costume designer, Abby Engbrecht, and actor Cody Jensen.
