Shakespeare in Love Closes At The Arts Guild This Weekend

By Logan Wells, News Director | Logan@kymnradio.net

After a sold-out opening weekend, the Northfield Arts Guild’s show, Shakespeare in Love, is looking to end strong on its closing weekend.

Part mis-identity hilarity and part love story, this show has something for everyone. Several characters are based on historical figures, and many of the characters, lines, and plot devices allude to Shakespeare’s plays. Thanks to two clever authors, the show entertains with snappy and witty dialogue.

Their are three shows remaining, with Friday and Saturdays show at 7:30pm and Sundays show at 2pm.

You can purchase tickets by going to the guild’s website: https://northfieldartsguild.org/ and then clicking the tickets hub button in the middle of the home page. Tickets cost $20 for adults and $16 for students and seniors.

The Arts Guild’s Theater is located at 411 Third Street in Northfield

KYMN’s Paula Granquist had an opportunity to talk with several members of the cast. Listen to that show here.
