The 15th season of the Riverwalk Market Fair started last week in Northfield, and this year they have a new event, which starts tonight with RMF at Greenvale. Set to run this afternoon from 3 pm to 6:30 pm, the fair will take place next to the Northfield Community Education Center and Greenvale Park Elementary.
Derek Meyers, the Riverwalk Market Fair Manager, stated that the fair will be similar to a Saturday Market at Bridge Square

“So similar kind of thing we’ll have, we’ll have farmers. We’ll have artists, we’ll have bakers and canners and crafters and live music.” – Derek Meyers, Riverwalk Market Fair Manager on the KYMN Morning Show
Meyers noted that fair is moving to that area to help bring a fresh food option to the part of Northfield most separated from all of the grocery stores:
“It’s a nice thing, you know, kind of happening on that side of town where there aren’t maybe as many food options. So that was sort of like one of our one of our missions there to was to was to bring the market to an area where there hadn’t been something like that for a while.” – Derek Meyers, Riverwalk Market Fair Manager on the KYMN Morning Show
RMF at Greenvale will run on the 4th Tuesday of the Month through September, Riverwalk at Bridge Square will continue to run each Saturday, 9am – 1pm, till October 28th. Riverwalk Market Fair regularly posts information about new vendors each year on their Facebook page if you want to see more information about their different vendors.
