This weekend, Northfield area students will be celebrating graduation with the Area Learning Centers graduation tonight and the High School graduation on Sunday. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Matt Hillmann said that 318 students are set to graduate from Northfield High School and participate in the ceremony. He noted that it was an exciting step for the students:
“We all know this is an exciting time of year. People have such anticipation, you know, for what’s next. Also some trepidation. You know, in terms of going out into a world with a little bit, maybe less support than we’ve had for the last 13 years.” – Dr. Matt Hillmann, Superintendent of Schools on the KYMN Morning Show
The High School graduation ceremony will take place on Sunday at 2 pm at Memorial Field. The service will also be broadcast here on KYMN Radio.
Tonight will be the ALC’s graduation ceremony with 46 students graduating.
“One of the most moving ceremonies that we have, because it’s such a smaller group, but the graduation actually takes longer because, you know, there is an individual testimony that teachers. There, for each graduating senior in such a special place.” – Dr. Matt Hillmann, Superintendent of Schools on the KYMN Morning Show
The ALC graduation will take place tonight at 6pm at the Northfield Middle School Auditorium.
Congratulations to the Class of 2025. We wish you the best in your next step in your journey.
