Concert Series At The Gardens of Castle Rock Begins Tonight; Musical Acts Each Wednesday Night Until August 27th

By Logan Wells, News Director | Logan@kymnradio.net

Good Times at the Gardens starts tonight with a performance by the Dan Lowinger Four. The concert series runs from tonight, each Wednesday, through the summer until August 27th with a new musical guest each week. Owner of the Gardens, Glenn Switzer, said he was particularly excited for the music guests this year:

“But the musicians that are coming in this year are just top, top notch. Some of them play in and around here, meaning the Northfield area, but most are Metro. Actually, we have some from Mankato.” – Glenn Switzer, Owner of the Gardens on the KYMN Morning Show

Switzer noted that the genres of musicians vary with country, from jazz and small groups to larger bands. He noted that several food options will be served this year, as well as beer from Ineffable Brewing Company in Burnsville. New this year, Switzer said that the Gardens has started its own winery, serving wine made on site at the event:

“And we haven’t, like, fully talked about this anywhere else. But we’ve started a winery out there.” – Glenn Switzer, Owner of the Gardens on the KYMN Morning Show

Doors open at 5 pm, with the music acts between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm, held rain or shine. There is a $5 cover charge, and the event is 16+. The Gardens of Castle Rock are located on Highway 3, about 10 minutes North of Northfield. You can see the full concert series lineup by going to https://thegardensofcastlerock.com/goodtime
