The summer concert series hosted by the Northfield Public Library is already underway, with its weekly Wednesday night performance in Way Park. Library Director Natalie Draper stated that this was one of the events she was most excited for each year:

“It’s nice to have consistent free programming that’s open to the entire community. That’s all ages friendly.” – Natalie Draper, Northfield Library Director on KYMN In The Morning
The event starts at 5:30pm with storytime for young kids ages 2 to 6. Followed by the concert beginning at 6pm and going till 7pm. The book mobile will also be on site for people to visit.
“Come at six for the concert. Spring up. Picnic. Bring a blanket. We’ve got the red chairs out. And the music is fantastic. The theme this summer is kind of more on the Americana side of things.” – Natalie Draper, Northfield Library Director on KYMN In The Morning
Performing this week is Mark Joseph, who performs a soulful fusion of American roots, blending blues, country, rock, and psychedelic influences with heartfelt authenticity.
The event is free and open to all. They are made possible by the Friends and Foundation of Northfield Public Library, with additional support by Frandsen Bank & Trust. Learn more about the Friends and Foundation here
