Tin Tea is preparing to relocate from its current Jefferson Road location to Downtown Northfield, with only a few days remaining in its current space. Owner Chau Truong started the business while also a student at St. Olaf. Shortly after opening, Tin Tea became quite popular, and Truong said that while she loved the old location, the new one offered several opportunities:
“And our space is really nice, but it’s not the most welcoming that it could be for students that want to study or people who want to hang out. It’s just not a lot of space. With this new space, our goal is to create a warm environment where people can study and feel welcome. We’ve been intentional about setting up the dining spaces to accommodate people who want to work on their laptops, whether they’re alone or with their family, meeting, or on a date.” – Chau Truong, Owner of Tin Tea, KYMN News Interview
Currently, Tin Tea offers its signature product, Bubble Tea, and Banh Mi sandwiches. Truong said with the expanded kitchen and prep space that they were also seeking to expand the menu:

Truong expects to open the new location shortly, though the current location is set to close this week ahead of the move. Will keep you posted when the new location is set to open.
