DJJD Rodeo Tickets and Carnival Wristbands are Now For Sale

Rodeo Tickets 

Rodeo Tickets for the Defeat of Jesse James Days are now for sale. During the celebration, 3 Sutton Rodeos are held at North Babcock Park. On the Friday night (September 5th)  of the celebration at 8 pm, which is also the Give Cancer the Boot fundraiser. Two shows are held on the Saturday of the celebration. The Kids Day rodeo gets underway at 2 pm, and then the Honoring Our First Responders rodeo at 8 pm. Giveaways are with each paid admission while supplies last. 

Rodeo tickets are available for purchase at Family Fare, Ziggy’s, and Northfield Automotive. When paying in advance, cash only will be accepted. Adult Tickets $25 – Child Tickets (3-10 yrs old) $15. Tickets for the rodeo will also be sold, at the rodeo grounds 2 hours in advance of the performance.

Carnival Wristbands

Carnival Wristbands are also for sale. The wristband gets participants access to unlimited rides on the Thursday night of DJJD. The wristbands cost $20 in advance or $25 at the carnival. You can purchase the wristbands in advance at several locations, including: Cub Foods, Family Fare, Both Community Resource banks, Premier Bank, Frandsen Bank, both Merchant Banks, Hometown Credit Union, and MGM Liquor. Cash is preferred when buying the wristbands. 

DJJD Buttons

And you may have already noticed them around the community, but this year’s DJJD button is also for sale. The $5 button gets you access to several different events at DJJD, including bleacher seating at the Raid Renacements, the Car Show, the Raider Derby, the Cannon Valley Regional Orchestra performance, and the opportunity to win the full prize for the horseshoe hunt.

The buttons are also one of the celebration’s biggest fundraisers, with the funds raised from the button sales going to support much of the behind-the-scenes work of the celebration, like insurance and security. Buttons are for sale at most Northfield businesses.
