The Northfield School Board meets tonight for a regular meeting, its last meeting before the start of the school year. The main items on the agenda include two presentations, one by Community Education and the other by Spring Creek Elementary. Both presentations are improvement showcases, which is a regular report by each school in the district that shares highlights from the last school year and focus areas for this year. There will also be a presentation about Superintendent Dr. Matt Hillmann’s focus areas for the upcoming school year.
The meeting will conclude with a report on the high school construction project.
If you are interested in attending the school board meeting, it is held in the District Office Board Room; use Door #2 located on the north side of the District Office on 2nd Street West. The meetings are also streamed live on Zoom; you can find the link to the video in the agenda at Northfieldschools.org. Recordings of the meetings are also posted on the district’s YouTube page.
Tonight’s meeting starts at 6pm.
